Seventh edition of IO BENE – promoting excellence in the health and well-being sector

Health and well-being are two topics of considerable current interest among the public at large: the seventh edition of IO BENE, The Well-Being Fair is scheduled again this year Saturday 25 and Sunday 26 at the Veronafiere Congress Centre.

The exhibition offering and the event programme target consumers and sector professionals alike: IO BENE embraces an impressively wide range of products and services for the well-being of body and mind, from food to cosmetics, fitness and green building.

Workshops, events and seminars will be presented by doctors, biologists, nutritionists and many other sector experts.

Passion for tattoos: a convention dedicated to training of tattoo artists and public awareness

Next Saturday 4 and Sunday 5 March, the Veronafiere Congress Centre will host Passion Art Tattoo, the convention for the world of tattoos.

The event promises to become the landmark for admirers and professionals thanks to a programme of workshops for professionals and a calendar of events designed to raise public awareness of the health and hygiene aspects involved in this artistic technique.

On Saturday 4 March at 11.00, the Salieri Meeting Room welcomes “Vendi Cara la Pelle” (Sell Your Skin Dearly). The event sponsored by the Berica–Vicenza no. 8 Local Health Authority will provide information for people approaching this world for the first time, especially young people.

The two days of this event will host numerous appointments for sector operators, including workshops such as “Drawings on the skin – tattoos from design to stencil“, scheduled on Saturday 4 March 14.00-17.00, “The Tattoo Machine“, on Sunday 11.00-13.30 and “Realistic Three-Dimensional Tattoos“, on Sunday 14.30-18.30.

These workshops are on payment and places are limited.

For the occasion, a jury of experts will award the Passion Art Tattoo Award for the best deal tattoo completed during the convention.

There will also be moments of pure entertainment organized by the Vibrissa Academy of Performing Arts.

The most important events last year included the National Congress of Public Notaries: the audience of 1,400 people heard reports by the current Minister for Foreign Affairs, Angelino Alfano, the Minister for Constitutional Reform and Parliamentary Relations, Maria Elena Boschi, and the Minister for Regional Affairs and Self-Governing Regions, Enrico Costa.

The Sidapa Congress (Italian Professional and Environmental Dermatology and Allergy Society) was attended by 300 dermatologists discussing topics of national and international importance.

Veronafiere’s facilities were also made available to events by companies looking for an ideal venue for their conventions and workshops, including Lyoness, Bauli and Organo Gold Europe.

2016 came to an end with a “social” flavour with three events focusing on celebration and solidarity: New Year for old people by Verona City Council, the “Ultimo Con Noi” event organised in collaboration with the Diocese of Verona and Caritas and the New Year’s Eve celebrations with the Romanian Orthodox Community.


Automotive Dealer Day: increasingly international

Thirteen editions. Consolidated partnership between Veronafiere and Quintegia, the organiser of the most important European event dedicated to automotive dealer business, related digital technologies and people working in this sector.

The three days of workshops and networking were attended by over 4000 professional dealers, managers from car and motorbike makers, suppliers of products and services for dealers, authorised and independent repair centres, as well as experts in communications, IT and technology sectors. Twelve thousand square meters in the Palaexpo Convention Centre dedicated to research into solutions for car, motorbike, commercial and industrial vehicle, tractor and equipment sectors. 70 companies took part, as well as 70 Italian and international speakers at 28 workshop and master-class sessions.

IGCC, 10th International Gastric Cancer Congress

The Congress Centre will host 20 to 22 June the tenth International Congress on Gastric Cancer.
The congress, organized by the IGCA, International Gastric Cancer Association, will see the participation of oncologists, pathologists and gastroenterologists from around the world in order to achieve a multidisciplinary approach to gastric cancer, crucial in the third millennium.
